Diaphragm couplings

High torques are safely and reliably transmitted at maximum speed via a profiled single disc diaphragm. Power ranges up to 150 MW and continuous torques up to 3,500,000 Nm can be easily covered, matching our turbo gearboxes. The unique diaphragm contour and flexibility allows these couplings to compensate for axial, radial and angular misalignment under load.

Our diaphragm couplings are maintenance free and have an extremely long service life with maximum availability. In addition, the basic design consists of only a few components, making assembly and handling extremely easy for the user.

For particularly high displacement requirements, the couplings are designed as double diaphragm couplings. The double diaphragm coupling offers additional flexibility in displacement for the same power rating and coupling size.
